Food Safety in Maharashtra
In Maharashtra, Corrupted Municipal Corporation Civic officers openly rent public open spaces to Food vendors which are cooked under unhygenic conditions and poor in Quality! FSSAI is also not keeping watch on these street food vendors! Forget about unhyginic food bu these vendors are spreading nuisence in public spaces!
Forget about cooked food in street but Fruit and vegetable vendors are also saling adultrated fruit and vegetables in street markets. (For example: - Wax and artificial poisionous colors are applied to Fruit and vegetables to increase its aesthetic value and self life of Fruit & Vagetables! FSSAI never keeps watch on these Friuit & vegetable vendors!
First of all Maharashtra Government should ban selling of Cooked Food in Public spaces and keep strict watch on selling of adultrated Fruit & Vagetables in steets. more

To Eliminate corruption bring BJP to power in municipal election. BJP- GOVT. MUST SHOW GUTS TO ERADICATE ALL UN-AUTHORIZED STREET VENDORS & GENERAL MERCHANTS WHO ARE CREATING NUISANCE TO TAXPAYERS & COMMON CITIZEN OF THIS CITY.All encroaches to be removed from footpath.These encroaches generated by ward members ,Local police and local goons .For example Kanjurmarg , Bhandup.and Nahur east side is filled with encroachment and vendors. more

It appears that main cause is corruption amongst officers/employees of Municipal Corporations etc. If this corruption is eliminated things are likely to improve substantially. Now, How to control corruption? We should take advantage of Technological Progress. All offices MUST be computerised and go digital. All halls, cabins, and corridors be under CCTV Cameras. In and out of every employee must be by Biometric recording. Visitors should be photographed and biometric record taken along with name, address etc. before allowing entry in the Office.This will ensure presence of employees in the office and its record. For outdoor duties like inspection of shops etc. the employee must carry a Camera on his shoulder or cap that must be on when starting from Office and must remain on till he reports back/returns to office.every location visited and every word spoken and heard by the employee is recorded and is available for scrutiny. 1. We must ensure that every shop or road side vendor is authorised and has a certificate to that effect displayed. 2. Collect samples from vendors randomly selected by computer. 3. Footpath in pune is either occupied by shopkeepers ie encroachment-or occupied by vegetable vendors or used by cars and two wheelers for parking-in many places PMC has kept the footpath and road at the same level to facilitate vehicle parking at footpaths too-this is unthinkable practice in civilised world in advance countries-but sab kutch chalta hai-in pune amchi maharashtra with the blessings of political goons. more
