Final Comparison between 26/11 & Pathankot Attacks

Comparison between 26/11 & Pathankot Terror attacks:

26/11 Attack:

164 dead, 600+ injured, 15 Service Personnel killed, including Mumbai's top 5 Cops, one Army Major & one Army Commando.
Property worth crores destroyed. Compensation paid to the dead in crores.

Pathankot Attack:

7 Army Personnel dead, including Col, Niranjan, who actually did not die from a Terrorist's bullet. Rather, he died because, he did not wear his standard protective gear while handling an explosive laden dead body. Zero destruction to Property. Most importantly, not a single Civilian Causality and all critical assets at the Airbase which were the main targets of the attack safe and secure.

For those who dont know, Pathankot Airbase is the largest Airbase in the Country and one of the largest in the World spread over 2700 acres. Just it's boundary wall being 24Kms. This Air Base houses almost 50% of India's Air Force Fleet, which were the main targets of the attack.

Motto being cripple Pathankot, u cripple India!

Another fact being, this Air Base also houses the residential quarters of all it's employees. The Terrorists cud have easily entered these quarters out of frustration and mowed down hundreds of these families or at least taken many hostage. But, not a Single such Causality.

Such was the mastery of Ajit Doval on this Counter-Op. more

It is very easy to comment that we should attack back, is that going to sort out issues? where do you want to strike back? Do you mean declare war? I think prime minister Modi is moving in the right track. He should assess how much Pakistani prime minister hold pwoer to act against the pakistani military, if he is powerless there is no point in discussion, better to bring international pressure on Pakistan, well Americans despite fully aware that Pakistan a rouge country will continue dilly- dallying. India now should revamp its terrorist protection system and plug loopholes of internal elements helping terrorists for small gain. more
For heaven sake do not make this comparison. Just pray god and praise the police and forces who have handled this well. It is easy to comment once the job is done. In my opinion people incharge do their best at the time of crisis. We must not criticise them. Yes we must analyse to improve for the future. more
V. Thyagarajan - ED of Faridabad Managment Association : Though We have not lost Civillians, We have lost our most valuable 7 Army Personnels. Their Families have been effected. We are really concerned about their wife and children. such a trauma. If any damage had happened, the loss would have been multiple times more than the 26/11. God Saved us. Lets not compare 26/11 which is still very scarry. On 1/9/16, Surya Rao wrote: > more
recently in paris when terrorist attacked, immediately france swung into action and took revenge. they value every loss of human life. in our country our army personnel life is most important, because they guard us day & night in very toughest atmosphere. hence any loss of human life should be considered as very serious threat and we should give be-fitting reply, otherwise terrorist and enemy countries will think we are very weak and afraid to attack back. our country should attack back and show our strength. more
The real win will be Pakistan arresting the Pakis who masterminded the attack and dealing with them according to law. So far, they seem to be making the right noises, let us see what eventually happens. more
