Excellent survey released by LocalCircles today in Navbharat Times and India Today. Just saw it. It covers how people have to bribe in India after death of a mother, father, husband to get assets transferred in their name.

If there is one area that Modi Government should do something about to get reelected its one of the top ones. more

It is not new. It started even before 1947 when Nehru cheated and bribed to become PM when votes were clearly in favor of Patel. So if your start has been like this, you know what is there in store. more

Modi govt has failed to enact harsh laws against corruption, adulteration, sub standard/duplicate medicines, consumables and loan defaultrrs. No action to stop pensions and perks of elected members andcrefuction in the numbers of MPs to 500 and abolishing of Rajya sabha and MLCs in States. more

The man on the street is corrupt. When we vote based on religion and caste, that is corruption. When we vote based on freebies it is corruption. When we shop and pay without a receipt to cheat the tax, it is corruption. Till a vast majority of the population changes, it is not possible to achieve anything on that front. more
