Eco Friendly eat without goat

I agree with this. If we can have eco friendly ganesha and eco friendly diwali and holi why cant we have eco friendly eid.

Why do we have to do blood shed on eid??

Sorry if I am hurting any sentiments. more

It is a very good idea. But people concerned should themselves think on this whether they should continue with their archaic practices in the name of religion or custom. If somebody says that God has permitted eating some animals why has He created the human beings like herbivorous animals. Probably such practices were started where and when other food items were not available in adequate quantity. Scientists have proved that meat eaters are adding six times as much to global warming compared to vegetarians. Is it not time we thought on this? more
The Lord has forbidden us to eat certain animals and has permitted us to eat certain ones. One of these is the goat. If we did not eat these animals they will multiply and become so many that they will override the earth, hence let the muslims celebrate eid with bakri as it has been done for the past so many years. Anyway as Anjum says every day there are many slaughters. Only thing we must remember is that no cruelty should be shown to the animals at any stage. more
What do you mean by Eco Friendly? As far as I understand on Ganpati visarjan Water bodies get polluted because material used to make them, generally it is POP. On Diwali bursting of crackers create sound pollution as well as air pollution due to smoke. What kind of pollution you get on Eid. The waste material is collected by Municipal staff and it is sold to different process house and pharma companies. Meat is distributed among poor and needy and usually they dry and store it for future use. Skin is sold to tanneries and amount so received is given to orphanages etc. What is more on daily basis millions of animals are slaughtered for general consumption. Shall we stop it under guise of eco friendly and render millions jobless. more
Buffalo and Goat are sacrificed in Shakti temples also. This is ancient practice and there is nothing inhuman about it. more
