Drain Beautification
Noida Authority is saying they will beautify 14 drains in Noida. Journalists who write these articles, can you also please ask them for a plan and how they will prioritise which drains and how will they execute. Doing just announcements with no real plan of action is something we have had enough of.

Urmilaji first of all the idea of Noida authority has to be a cruel joke to be eventually used for siphoning off public money. Secondly, it would hardly extend beyond painting cement blocks yellow and black and putting some plants to be eaten away by stray cattle or allowed to whither away so that case can be made out for planting afresh and of course at a cost with its usual cut for the concerned. more

Present state of drains in Noida is horrible? Initial design must have been necessity and suitable for that time load but now with increased load, multi-storey buildings and covering drains with bottom not cemented Are becoming storage of wet slush giving birth to Army of mosquitoes. There is hardly any forceful flow of water in these drains. How we can imagine the beautification of these drains? more
