Dog & Monkeys

Both these issues require a separate treatment.

Monkeys whether they have been a part of the city and grown in numbers or have strayed from the adjoining forest areas continue to be wild and are invaders by nature. The very first attraction for the simians is knowledge of the fact that a place can offer them food. Food left in the open, offered intentionally by people for religious reasons or as a duty towards God's creation etc are various ways which even if done once are good enough to have the Monkey's stay on in the area forever. and become vicious if denied their right to access to food. This in turn leads to a growth in the subsequent conflicts. I have personally seen Government officials feeding monkeys in the North Block and South Block areas in Delhi therefore it is not surprising that Government itself is not being able to to anything as far as monkey menace is concerned. Even some of the members in the delhi state animal welfare board engage in this unhealthy practice of feeding monkeys close to residential areas. Therefore a more serious intervention is needed on part of the Govt.

On the Other hand Dogs are more predictable in their behavior and with some co-operation from the Local vets and Dog lovers, their population can be controlled as well as the unfortunate instances of dog bites can be prevented to a large extent with some engagements of the local communities. more

Love for animals is very different from loving Stray dogs. People who love stray dogs are inhuman because they love watching small children & elderly being attacked, mauled & torn to pieces by these strays. more
Have you noticed that people who feed monkeys & stray dogs as their duty towards God's creations are strangely unmoved by the sight of starving humans? I always find it ironic that they are more concerned with the welfare of these strays than they are of the downtrodden sections of human society. more
Monkey & Dog menance is increasing, because, I think, dueto attitude of one old Minister who did not allow their removalout of love for animals. That is why authorities do not take stern action against dogs and monkeys even if they are harming Human Beings. Not only this stray cows and buffalos who endanger life of travellers are not caught. more
Mr. Chandan ji, Sir it appears that you have posted in wrong circle. more
