Do MPs have to pay for tickets from large parties

Friends - Mu understanding about Indian politics (atleast the dirty side of it) is quite limited.
Was at a gathering earlier in the week and someone with repute was talking about how much MPs in big parties pay to the Party Leadership for a seat.

They were pretty convincing. I would like to hear from everyone how it works. The more I hear about such things, stronger becomes my belief in Arvind and AAP. Yes. we have made some mistakes bout our heart is clean and intent is good.

For your views.

Abhishek: problem has arisen due to public perception. more
True..AAP is the only party which is clean. As far as our mistakes are concerned, that depend on an individual's perception. more
This is a fact for sure. While talking to a former MLA ( lady) representing a national party, I was told by her only that the only reason for her not getting a ticket was because someone else paid a huge amount to buy this ticket. She had been a repeat MLA for three times and enjoyed great reputation and was genuinely respected by one & all. I have no reasons to believe she was not telling me the truth. Since then this was reconfirmed by many others. AAP, of which I am a karyakarta, came into being as one focussed on cleansing of governance. I am not a follower of any individual within AAP but the mission it stands for. My commitment is to the cause and that will not get impacted adversely if any member of the party, howsoever important goes off track. People will come & go, it is the cause for which we should keep fighting. more
True. AAP is clean party till date. more
I know lot of politicians. Mostly businessmen and rich guys wishing to acquire power and position (after money) pay money to get the tickets. It is known to almost all the people who are connected in this field. more
