CRITERIA FOR CONTESTING FORTHCOMING DELHI ELECTIONS!

Hope, this time AAP shall give Tickets to professionals like us. I would like to know the requirements very explicitly, as I am willing to contest from Badarpur Area in Delhi. Hope, this time the selection of candidates shall be transparent, and openly declared to people for verification that the justice has been done? I would suggest the Selection Criteria to include following points for eligible candidates:
* Minimum Qualification: A Post Graduate
* Minimum Experience: 20 years; AVP level for 5 yrs
* Back Ground: Service only; and must not belong to Business back ground i.e. his father, brother, sister or wife for that matter
* Criminal Back Ground: Not to be considered at all
* Achievements: Must have achieved Distinction in his field of his specialization.
* Property: Maximum Rs 2 ~ 3 Cr including his residence, Cars, flats etc
* Personality: Sweet, Extrovert with impressive disposition, and flair for public speaking
* Must submit action plan for circle's evaluation
* Any other points deemed fit by the Group
...............

Selection based on 1000 Signatures from that Area to become eligible to get a Ticket is a bad idea, as anyone with money at his disposal can manage that without having above attributes. Comments are solicited from all AAP Supporters. more

dear Arun the idea is wonderful ,quite sometime back I aired this idea of volunteers ( Intellectual ) meet you would be happy to know I got written confirmation from 12 people were eager to meet each other Let me just get back to them once again a fix-up the day by the way in your charm wood village itself Mr.Mehrotra a very old friend of ours is also staying . And just for your information - I am no where close to the inner circle of AAP . I am able to get in touch with the people of AAP whom so ever I think I should . Now as far as person from BJP or any other Party for this matter is more than welcome but on our TERMS . we are sure of bringing positive change in his thinking process about AAP SO please do not panic ! more
Shiv Avtar-ji, With your vast experience, do you smell something wrong with me? I have stated that I was the president of Cliffton Residence Association of a small complex of 50 apartments from 1997 to 2006, which I dissolved in 2007, due to big fight with the builder, who broke open our walls, and constructed many multi-storied buildings. I was threatened by the SP/DGP to stop blocking builder's work. I had to surrender as my kids were small, whom I didn't want anyone to hurt. I resigned from that position, due to my helplessness to fight against builder. Now, we have many multiplexes in that area, and influential people are running the newly formed RWA. I have not accepted any position in RWA, though my both the kids have migrated to USA & Canada. At my retirement age, I don't wish to launch any crusade, as I am more than satisfied with my personal & professional life today. Kejriwal's crusade against corruption ignited the fire in my belly, and I decided to support him indirectly using all my experience. I wish to join politics to set the things in order, and not to mint money. That's why, I want you to make a fool proof criteria for selection of right candidate for different positions. If you have not yet formulated criteria, then there shall be many more Binny's surfacing in AAP, who shall further spoil it's already shattered image. more
Dear Ashok Sehgal-ji, It is evident that you are from the inner circle of AAP. I am happy that you took my intentions in the right perspective. All I request is that we call for a paid meeting on any Holiday with individual contribution of Rs 500 to Rs1000 where we can spend day over light snacks, and engage ourselves in a brain storming session, to finalize the norms required in selection criteria for all important positions, even to be a member of this circle. BJP persons breaking in to our circle, trying to influence us implies deficiencies in our selection criteria, which needs to be improved time & again till we achieve perfection. Everyone must be allowed to speak out his mind, and then floor finalizes the norms with majority favoring those points' inclusion. To me our Mission should be, "AAP shall Strive Continually to Bring in Transparency in to our Working, by System Enhancement, at Party & at Country Level through Referendum Mechanism", which must be crystallized seeking suggestions from the group. I am departing for US tonight, and shall be back on 10th July'14, and shall be too happy to meet up with all supporters of AAP to make it more stronger, as only AAP can give permanent solution to the Country! more
dear Arun I had been reading your mails to AAP for quite some time now I may be wrong in assessing you but I feel you have too many doubts that need to be clarified here we are not trying to win a conversation or coming to a conclusive decision based on one two or three arguments. One thing is clear that you liked the party and you want to remain member ,you are always wishing well for the party , you are concerned and you get upset when party doesn't take you seriously .Obviously hundred of questions would occur in your mind that need to be answered by the qualified and experienced persons of APP ! Well ,I would suggest you to please visit 41 Hanumaan Road New Delhi AAP's Head Office and meet either Col.Attre or Mr.Arvind Jha Or Mr.Ashish Talwar personally and feel relaxed I promise you won't be disappointed. more
Ashok ji, Many Thanks; I am obliged. I would like the gentleman to reply in writing so that everyone can benefit. I might not be able to report our conversation properly. more
