CREDIT CARD THREATENING CALL FROM STANDARD CHARTED BANK
Credit card users need to be extra extra cautious for so many wrong commitments being made by these banks. Very recent case is false claims being made by ICICI for their premium credit card Saphiro, they also charge an annual fees of Rs 5000 for the same. We took it up strongly with the bank. @consumerlive is the twitter handle through which we bombarded tweets. It had its impact and today ICICI bank has confirmed to refund the fees charged. We don't intend to stop here and are following it with ICICI to explain why false advertisement is being made.
Pl tweet, go on facebook support each other and it will definitely have impact. If you r not very conversant with twitter and facebook pl raise your issues here on this forum. Consumer forum, State & Nationalcommissions play as pawns in the hands of Govt., corporate giants like ICICI Bank etc and help these errant bodies more than come to the rescue of the innocent vicitm. This I am writing from my own experience of the past over 6 years.
Unless the public who express angst agaisnt corrupt practices actually come out and ACT as a combined force, these illegalities by ICICI BANK and others does not stop.
Should not the gullible victim get compensation for the suffering metted out by these people?
Terminaologies like headservicequality, Zonal managers, Senior management desk of the CEO are all meant ONLY TO MANAGE THE SERIOUS ISSUES OF FRAUD COMMITTED BY ICICI Bank and its group companies and any attempt of expression to redress the issues on hand is an eye wash and delaying justice. One zonal manager rank person of this fraud ICICI Bank even stated that complaints can be made and that the bank knows how to support them. more
