Covid 19 job Crisis in India
Has been captured well by this graphic attached. I want to know what are entrepreneurs doing in this circle. Are you letting some staff go or are you cutting salaries? Our small 7 store retail chain has been shut last 2 months now just reopening. Difficult times. more

Industry bodies always excel at selling optimism or pessimism, depending on the need of the hour. They’ve picked the most opportune time to pressurise the govt into submitting for a stimulus package or at least lowering of taxes for the said industries. Of course the grim reality is many facing insecurity over their jobs but many companies operating under these industries have also discovered WFH lowering their operational costs and are rethinking the entire business model. The sector that will take the most hit will be real estate. Everything else shall bounce back, just give it a little time. As for us, we are just shy of 100 employees and are on a hiring spree right now. We see this as a great opportunity to build great teams with great talent. more

We are in Restaurant sector and we believe we may have to lay off at least 20% of our staff. At present we are operating with 15% of staff offering only take away. more
