Covid-19 GBN 01-05 update

Dear DM, Wish to compliment you and your team for the efforts being put in to control the COVID-19. Towards ensuring that the virus doesnât spread, I wish to bring this to your notice. I live in Gulshan Vivante Sector 137. In front of our and Ajanara societies, for the last week or so, over a dozen thela walas selling vegetables, fruits and matakas have started putting their carts. This is in addition to the Noida authorityâs van that comes in the morning and stays till the evening. These thela walas not only create disturbance but also do not follow social distancing norms and also do not wear masks. Each thela has two to three persons manning it. They keep dirtying the area by easing themselves there only. The area has started stinking. Only once, about four days back a police patrol van came around, took a round and drove off. Other than that we have not seen a police patrol in the last over two weeks. I would sincerely request for your indulgence in getting these thelas removed before we see a rise in COVID-19 cases as these are a potential sources of likely spread. All residential societies may be instructed to keep list of people who are frequently visiting hospitals for regular treatment or having a stay in hospitals and those families should take quarantine like precaution. more
