Corrupt/Lack of Ethics in Financial Markets

Stock trading is one area about which some of you have written to us highlighting that markets are manipulated by various forces.

With this post we would like to seek your inputs on all the corruption/ethics issues relating to stock trading/information exchange in India. Once we understand all the issues, we will look at root causes and solutions seperately.

The objective would be to produce a whitepaper for SEBI that can be utilized to improve transparency in financial markets and increase trust of the common man in Indian Financial Markets.

We look forward to your inputs!

I do believe there is a cartel controlling the market.
Couple of years ago,L&T Fin.Holdings, touched 90 and was brought down to 20.
It is a finance share nothing to do with manufacturing, production, assets etc.. There is no logic
for such wide variation except for manipulation by a cartel.
