Corruptionis worse than Cancer
Common Man does not understand the impact of illegal money laundering and corruption taking away $1 Trillion per year which can be put for productive use. only 3.5% of working population pay tax in India! Congress Govt has destroyed Indian Economy where by Rs/$ should be Rs 35/1$ if not less. Now it is Rs 62/1$. What a shame!
Modi Govt has to be tough in next few weeks and collect tax based on No of Cars/Houses/AC/Fridge/TVs and tax those not paying tax.
It is not difficult to count the no of household. If Govt cannot do a correct head count, they should held accountable and demoted or dismissed from service for wrongful concealment of statistics. more

I agree with Radha regarding mechanism for identification of people who are not paying tax. IT Dept has to work hard for tracing of people who are escaping payment of tax but not harassing tax payers.How 3.5 % figure (as tax payers) is arrived. G.K.Naidu, Hyderabad more

If only 3% population is paying tax, Govt has to look at loopholes and why the IT team not able to collect tax and fix it. People who regularly pay tax are harassed by IT department once in a while looking at our a/c details and asking for more information which would have happened few years ago. Why dont IT department catch hold of people who are not paying tax, but enjoying luxurious life. There should be a mechanism to identified to tract people who are not paying tax. more

Dear Shri Ravi Parthasarthy, I agree fully with your views. But can the govt. take such a bold and harsh step putting its vote banks at stake? But I am sure our PM as a good political surgeon has all courage and strength to do that . But he need be advised and supported by all of us to take this drastic measure. This approach is required in all spheres of society and government. With given mandate we repose faith in him look up for his stewardship. more
