Corruption

Corruption is the single most hurdle for busnessman as well as Indian citizens in getting right product, quality product at right price. The government system is simply counterproductive a thoroughly corrupt. The government must bring transparency through internet, public data display, file movement chronology as well as strict deadlines for clearance of proposals. Erring/corrupt business man also be hounded and punished-who are willing to do anything to get black money. Open disclosure of corrupt officials names in the net is a must-to force the government to take action. more

In my opinion majority of the people are corrupt irrespctive of their positions and public is also corrupt who lures / encourages corruption to others. Therefore eradication of corruption at this level is quite difficult rather we may try to improve honesty as much as posssible. S.C.Singh more
Corruption flaws from corrupt revenue laws and aim to ensure that businessmen do business without bills. The most corrupt of such laws is Value Added Tax Act. There is immediate need for withdrawal of Wealth Tax Act, Capital Gains Tax Act, Central Sales Tax Act, Excise Duty, Service Tax and taxes on movement of goods & services within India. The sum total of all taxes is so much that free education can be granted upto level 12 to all Indian kids, including free transportation. India's population is India's biggest strength but for lack of proper education, we have proved to the world that it is India's biggest handicap. If anyone has seen the movie "NAYAK" in its right perspective, they will understand this. No body, not even GOD can change things in India where 80% public think they do not pay any taxes, whereas the fact is that even the poorest person pays taxes varying from 4% to 78%.
