THOUGH THE STATEMENTS ARE SOMEWHAT CORRECT THERE ARE LOT OF PEOPLE WITH INTEGRITY, CALIBRE AND TRUST. TO AVOID LEAVING AFTER PUTTING SIGNATURE, IN ALL THE GOVT. OFFICES (AT LEAST IMPORTANT OFFICES AND HAVING MORE STAFF STRENGTH) SHOULD INTRODUCE BIOMETRIC ATTENDANCE SYSTEM WITH GLASS DOORS AT EACH ENTRY POINT AND SUCH DOOR SHOULD OPEN ONLY AFTER SCRATCHING THE BIOMETRIC IDENTITY CARDS. THIS SYSTEM IS BEING FOLLOWED IN IT COMPANIES AND WELL KNOWN PRIVATE FIRMS. THE BIOMETRIC SYSTEM SHOULD BE CONNECTED TO PAY ROLL SYSTEM TOO AND THE REDUCTION OF PAY ACCORDING TO ABSENCE FROM DUTY TO BE MADE. INITIALLY THERE MAY BE CRITICISM AND AT LEAST THIS GOVT. Its almost as if one wonders.....when and how did the system come to this pathetic state of affairs! Its nothing but a compromise of values from the individual level right up to the highest official.....irrespective of whether poverty is the sole causing factor! Don't know where the cleaning should begin, where even a dream does not sit well in one's mind or hold any kind of justification to its probable reality. more

Why there are ghost employees only in government offices and not in corporate world? This question itself would provide answer to the question. They are in government offices because they have all the support of their bosses. In absence of accountability government has just become a setup to enjoy not for serving the society. The concept of profit centre is applicable in corporate world for making money but it needs to applied to government offices for providing effective services /governance to society. more

there should be arrangement for regular checking by competent authority and if ghost employees found in surprise inspection thy should be dealt with seriously. more
