Why does IPL cricket matches get traffic police assistance and that too at the expense of the tax payers money. It is not an official international event but just because traffic police are paid hefty amounts they will openly engage in the illegal activity. more
1. Road side vendors pay a daily amount to police suggestion: bridge the loop hole & allow the road side vendors to carry on their business only for a specific time duration by charging a fix charges payable to nc/mnc 2. Shared taxis give money to the traffic police suggestion: make cctv based direct challan generation system & enforced it through third party / automatic smart computer system which can detect the cctv images and decide whether a taxi/taxi driver should be fined or not for violation of rule , if any. 3. Traffic police asks for a bribe to let go of challans suggestion: make cctv based direct challan generation system & enforced it through third party / automatic smart computer system without any trafic police interferance. 4. Officers at the police station ask for money to verify documents for licensing: suggestion: bridge the loop hole & make all the system computerised and digital document issuance and varification , confirmation should be & must be done through mobile & internet online . centralised data should be maitained at all india level & for illiterate peoples their finger print/iris/aadhar card/voter id no/mobile no. should be linked with their digital details stored at centralized data online varification confirmation so that it will be easier for concern authority to varify and people will also not feel this is the dadagiri and or policegiri of concern officials. 5. The lower level police staff demands money to file FIR suggestion: bridge the loop hole allow to register online FIR all across india . this is already been implemented at BANGLORE on pilot basis it should be implemented all across india. without online FIR system we all people feel helpless in india (observation: as we have seen in one case of UP even an IPS was also unable to lodge his FIR against a political heavyweight , even in a police station where his subordinate police officer was incharge recently .) so implementing online FIR system all across india , after strict third party online realtime varification is a very practical idea of future india 6. Police constables demand money for passport verification suggestion: bridge the loop hole and issue passport to every one on demand and link it with VOTER ID /AADHAR CARD /RATION CARD etc. 7. Almost all heavy vehicles passing through the city need to pay bribes suggestion: bridge the loop hole and install electronic weight scale at all toll nakas /chungi nakas and connect it to central computer system of toll connection and thus the weight of the heavy vehical passing will get recorded in computer and accordingly fined amount / chungi extra charge/ extra weight charge money can be collected automatically 8. Some policemen accept bribes for ignoring land encroachment suggestion: bridge the loop hole and use satellite based automatic city anti land encroachment detection & mapping system in india . make the checking centre in each city and connect it to centralized monitoring system it will not only detect land encroachment but also prevent the illegal construction in india. 9. Police ask people to pay them some token money to let the construction go on without hindrance suggestion: bridge the loop hole and use satellite based automatic city anti land encroachment detection & mapping system in india . make the checking centre in each city and connect it to centralized monitoring system it will not only detect land encroachment but also prevent the illegal construction in india. this may reduce such cases 10. Road accidents are settled outside the law by bribing the investigating officer suggestion: bridge the loop hole and make online realtime video recorded panch-nama in the presence of third party witness mandatory it will reduce such cases. 11. Citizens collude with Police with bribes to get insurance/bigger insurance claims. suggestion: bridge the loop hole and make the strict provision for those peoples who themselves offer bribes to police sometimes to get their things done by hook or by crook. police officers must be terminated from his service ( lower level police officials must also be dearly punished ) if found guilty in corruption cases. more

Let us see some actions happening or else this will become a five year plan. Have you been able to develop a understanding between state and central govt. on various issues? Will Govt. at center have any say in working of UP police? more
