Corruption in Policing - Inputs Needed
They demand money for
1. Not registering FIR
2. While traffic checking from scooter drivers, sand trucks, container lorries
3. From private bus operators in he form of a monthly collection
4. They demand money from money lenders, liquor shops
5. They collect money from goons
6. They make the complainant to accused while preparing the case diary according to the bribe received more

I agree that some of Uniformed officers of different department are demand money for 1. Not registering FIR 2.For constructions 3.Notices 4. Violation While traffic checking from scooter drivers, sand trucks, container lorries 5. Interstate Drivers private bus operators in the form of a monthly collection 6. demand money from Shop keepers,Hotels, money lenders, liquor shops etc BUT IT ALL DEPEND UPON INDIVIUALS, IF WE ARE RIGHT AND AWARE OF LAWS THAN NOBODY CAN TOUCH US. more

Scope of curruption is built in the system. No timeline for police to act is there in place. Police has discretionery power for arrest which is normally against the intrest of society and law. Police can make people to sit in the police station for any time period. People are busy in life so they dont want to get involve in the witness etc which make the case weak thus harmful for justice. If a person is not found guilty then policemen should be punished for the false case framing.This will make police desist from harrasing innocent people. Catching and punishing proven criminal by police should be rewarded. more

I have complained in Feb 2015 for a cheating done by fake Kent RO (name IP Kent RO) company in Uttam Nagar, but the local police station has taken my application and there is no registration of FIR or any action till date. I talked to IO who said there is nothing in the complain which shows cheating and ingnoring my complain. How and where we will get justice when the first officers are not friendly. more

Poor Policeman also are victims of corruption. You know how much money a guy spends to get poasted as SHO. 25 Lac to a few Crores. more

Why the traffic police are involved in providing facilities during IPL Cricket matches....because they are offered heavy bribes to do so and in the process tHe common public is inconvenienced. The govt personnel are used for private events. Think guys would they do it for free. According to a report recd the Mumbai traffic police were paid 8 crores during the last IPL season. No wonder the entire N.S.road was made into a private property. more
