we need more staff and judges to work 365 days except Sunday and government holidays. long vacation should be abolished and courts should be strengthened. more
I agree.. there is total disconnect between public and courts!! Further, courts have official corruption- in the form that they have long vacation in summer!! This is not "justified'' as there are lakhs of cases pending and judges go on long vacation? How it is possible in democracy... This system was introduced during British Raj when there was no concern of British judiciary towards Indian common public but now under democracy it should be banned. This leads to more accumulation of cases and in turn huge costs to entire society. more
Litigant pays court fees, pays fees to lawyer, signs all documents, case is in his name but he is not connected directly to court. Even to know the date of listing, he has to depend on Lawyer who becomes boss after the client signs vakalath. Why not court send SMS or Emails to the litigants directly after collecting nominal charge? more
Sufficient resources are given, which can be taken for consideration. more
