We would like to seek your inputs on the various forms of corruption prevalent in the banking sector. This would include corruption between Bank-Govt, Bank-Business, Bank-Citizens.

Banks" activities are to be segregated within branch/ regional office as Corporate, General Public and Govt. sponsored schemes. Knowledgeable branch manager, sub- heads are to be posted and checked about updation of their knowledge at field level from to time. There should be a specific time limit specified by these heads for disposal of applications by the subordinates. In case of grievance from public, the complaints are to be pooled and discussed once in a week, in front of empowered official from HO/RO and disposed off at any cost if they are beyond the due dates of disposal. The officials in various activities are to be interchanged once in 6 months or one year to get a thorough knowledge. There should be assistance at branch level to assist the public about the requirements and filling up of forms and to judge the eligibility. If some body is found to be ineligible, he/she should be informed about rejection then and there. more

Banking corruption is insured. No bulding on site but loan for building 100%disbrsed. Complains till RM went unheard. That was INDIAN BANK. All banls r same 2 to3 % for loan to the fake industries. PNB is also 5ame more

Banks are very vital for the growth of our business in our country. The banks have to provide finance for industry in a transparent manner. But this is never done. Lot of things happen since the time the file is submitted and the file is disposed off. No one knows how a loan is sanctioned. People with influence and money power get their loans sanctioned without any effort whereas common people with genuine projects and small amounts run around helplessly. There should be a time bound manner for approvals or disapprovals. The reason should be given for non-approval of loans. The banks should compulsory have a portfolio of small loans and without this the bank should be taken to task. more

Reliance Industries headed by Mukesh and Anil Ambani cheat Indians in all fierlds. I had to cancel my mobiule connection as I was charged while I was attending a religious function. That is how they grow big and would suffer shortly. more
