Corruption by Political Leaders

Happy Diwali all friends. Many of the state ministers, mlas mayors other politicians are corrupt in our country. Most of them Make money by taking cuts on contracts but there are two other ways:

1) Encroach on Government property or get it transferred to themselves at dirt cheap rates

2) extort when they want to buy land or get contracts by using the power of office (police) to get common citizens to sell their assets at lower prices than market rates

Can we share our experiences and find some systemic solution to this problem so such crooks follow the rule of law. more

It is prevailing in the country since independence. These so-called leaders are being elected you and me according to our personal choice and preferences. Until we keep our personal choice and interests aside and choose only those having exemplary characters and honesty, these loots will continue. No law and discussion would be suffice to mend these roughs. Complete social boycott of these people and their families would certainly do a miracle but will it be possible in our country! more

We need re-assess the system of Law enforce agencies.. Defaulters should be dealt severely and Zero tolerance should be maintained in such matter. Once, there may be problem while implementation but after some time, everything will be normal.... more
Politicians are a kind of cancer to the nation. As long as corruption exists, the general public cannot get justice. more
