Complete fraud by Tata Sky executives
We had changed our package on Jun 2, 2018 and made annual payment, in discussion with Tata Sky Call Center agent. We were shocked when on Dec 2 we were informed that our payment had finished and our connection would be disconnected.
Since then we have been talking to Tata Sky agents, supervisors and Nodal Officer every day, for last 6 days. They kept on assuring the problem will be solved "soon." However, we got a shock today when we were told by one Call Centre agent that there was no complaint showing in there system against my name. Which means the buggers simply DELETED COMPLETE CALL HISTORY to show there was no complanit from my side! Height of fraud by Tata Sky. more
The wahtsapp set by tatasky is also useless as explained if you follow the procedure it states that some package code not stated whereas on telling it says a simple procedure to ADD or DROP space and then enter channel number ,but sorry it does not work,and on calling helpline,website,mail there is no answer. more

You can reach tatasky on their website through help option and by using Chat. It may solve the problem. more
Also note their help line numbers are charging Rs.1&2 per minute for talking and much time is wasted on talks and information,then the representative comes on line and call is disconnected more
VERY WELL SAID AND TRUE SIR. EVEN 139 RAILWAY HELPLINE IS BEING CHARGED BY THE MOBILE OPERATORS. HIDDEN CHARGES ALL THESE. ALMOST ALL MOBILE OPERATORS AND DTH TV OPERATORS HAVE GONE TO THE EXTANT OF LOOTING THE CUSTOMERS THRUOGH THIS ROUTE. ANY HELPLINE CALL ON AN AVERAGE TAKES 20 TO 30 MIN,IF WAITING TIME IS INCLUDED THEN IT WILL BE MORE. IN OTHER WORDS 30 TO 40 RUPEES GO WASTED IF OUR GRIEVANCE IS NOT REDRESSED. THANKS more
1. The complainant may like to send en email stating all the previous docket number of the complaints. I am sure when it was charged on an annual basis, the SMS must have been received about the recharge and validity. Similarly you would also be having details of the plan (may be downloaded from their site).
2. In case you fail to get redressal say in about 7 days or so, send a reminder with a copy to TRAI. Still unredressed, you would have an option of filing the complaint before consumer forum at the risk of cost of Tata Sky. No advocate is required, These documents would be sufficient to get redressal as well as damages. more
