anywhere where there is an inspector in this country there is corruption. the worst in my experience are the provident fund and the esi departments. i had to give up my successful business because of these two. particularly the former. despite my depositing every penny required and working very honestly. they would hem and haw wondering when i would pay up then they would come up with the most ridiculous possible excuse and put in a wrong comment. more

we run a girls home near village near Kumbakonam. The area comes under Thiruvarur district in Tamil Nadu. Every year, for renewing license issued by CWC, we need to produce a fire and sanitary certificate. Both departments require payment of bribe for issue of this certificate. more
