My Dear Group Members and people who Mr.Bhargava especially, I welcome all critics as they keep me on the toes. I firmly believe that a person's work should speak for him and not the paper work which could and in most cases in Government Offices are merely dustbin work. Let me give you some concrete examples: After Surat (Textile Hub of our Country) in Gujarat earned the reputation of being the dirtiest city in the Country, one Municipal Corporator Mr.S.R. Rao. His work spoke for him and in just a span of 2 years he turned the plague ridden dirty city into a wonderful smart and leading city of our country. His dedication, passion and work style (though hard for some politicians and lazy officials) earned him love and affection of the people so much so that when he was being transfered, people of the city came out on the roads to protest and stall the transfers. And here we have a lady official who is trying to defend herself merely with paper work and is trying all means of feminine weakness as a cover instead of letting her work speak as she hasn't done much either and was caught. If you go through today's TOI (Delhi), a section of DANICS who work under Chief Secretary Mr.Anshu Prakash (Slapgate victim) are unhappy with his way of work where even senior 20-25 years service personnel are being deployed even on Holidays to officiate as Invigilators during Exams and also put on poll duties. It seems the IAS lobby considers itself all too powerful and others (subsidiary work force) as of not much importance when reality is that these clerical cadre do the much needed paper/field and ground work tirelessly. It needs a good official and his governance talent to keep everybody happy. Ultimatly these very same people who are complaining about CM Arvind Kejriwal whom they voted to power with majority who would be cribbing about shortfall in services - which is a failure of not the CM but of the IAS officials who have failed to deliver. As I said in the very beginning of my defense, I welcome critics as they bring out the best in me and this has helped me in my tenure in Entertainment Industry as also the NGO & Academic Sector where I have given my contribution as also the current Telecom field where it is a thankless job to keep all stakeholders satisfied. more
I respect Mr R N Stephen as an active crusader against evil in society. But. I am surprised how he could tolerate an insulting misbehavior towards a woman officer of Secy. rank in presence of her subordinate staff officers. If there was something wrong with the woman officer, the minister should have sent a warning to her in writing and take that to its logical end. If the woman officer was not following his dictate, he should have shown a moral courage to do what he wanted. I am also surprised on his comments without giving any proof “Instead of a course correction these IAS officials take shelter behind the Center's protection and cry foul”. Many of the IAS officers are very honest and straight forward and command public respect. more
Ms.Sheetal Jain please don't peddle false information. Varsha Joshi Transport Commissioner has been found derelecting her duty and was pulled up. Instead of a course correction these IAS officials take shelter behind the Center's protection and cry foul. I have written over 25 Letters to DTC requesting them, asking for information and giving suggestions which fell on deaf ears. When I marked a copy to Transport Min. Shri.Gehlot and he forwarded my mailed request through his office asking DTC to reply with a copy to his office, then only these corrupt DTC officials gave response but misleading informations which I immediately pointed out with proof. Nearly 1500 employees working in Noida use Route:392, 323, 398 to commute to Noida every day. Instead of improving the service the DTC bus drivers gather to party at last stand Sec.62 and then you see a procession of 3 buses one behind the other..while one will be full..other will take half load and third would be near empty. Instead if they space it at 10 mnts interval, they would get better revenue. DTC is going in losses because of faulty policies and ignorance by DTC staffers. Evenings drivers terminate the buses at their whims. I had challenged DTC to appoint observers but they reverted back saying they had done observations on such and such dates and found everything in order. Women and girls are left waving while drivers drive by without stopping to pick up passengers. DTC is doing dis-service to Delhi-ites. more
Dear Members, It is almost similar to the incidence of Chief Secretary in the recent past. I do not feel that tendering for any work can brought down the cost of any items. The efforts spent in writing the attached memorandum and getting it signed by the officials could have been jointly made during the meeting in conference room and the result would have been entirely different. In my opinion the minister did wrong and the officials have not done the right thing at the right time. Sad affairs to continue adversely affecting the common people in any case. more
we have more important issues to worry about-let us forget what politicians keep doing. more
