Chandigarh airport now has only one international flight. Atleast 1900 crores have been spent on the airport.

CM's are looting publics money on the name of DEVELOPMENT. Indirectly taxes are going into these so called ministers. I am more than sure there will be no increase in the international flights if a look will be given post 1 year. more

during akali dal rule most of the international flights from amritsar functional airport were cancelled now atleast direct international flights are operating more

Punjab is a Border State and sustaining A class Airport will be a challenging job. Even some local residents filed cases in High Court to start more international flights which was a misuse of legal process. Running Railways/Airlines is not the job of Courts. The occupancy rate will determine the number of national and international flights. The CM can provide outer infrastructure which is reasonably good but the approach to airport is very odd. more
