Censor Board latest action

I would like to see similar censor levels on all types of entertainment whether TV, Movies, radio. After all its families which watch everything. Content can keep on maturing with society but at least there needs to be option available for users to decide what is good for their family to see. more  

But we must not little our minds to ban or censor such works be it of films or books or music especially if they have artistic and literary merit or even aspire to have one. It is certainly not being modern to talk abuse. Just as it is not being rustic and uneducated to talk abuse. Whoever said that. But it is modern to allow different views, perspectives and artistic and creative license in the process of a larger message , narrative and intellectual evolution. People should not get confused here. Also ordinary people like you and me cannot be left to judge on the quality of films, books and arts or their creators/ authors. We are simply not qualified. It is like going to the mediaeval ages. BJP is too dynamic, intellectual and evolving a party to closet and restrain itself thus in such small petty ways. Please let us not let such Talibanisation happen. more  

Aping the west without consideration for our standard of exposure in villages is dangerous . Dubbing movies from the west which are certified A shd be banned . However freedom of expression can be limited by the certification . How do you monitor the home cable ??? Give tax breaks to good family drama , moral code , funny not vulgar , action packed not crude and bring back the hero as a perfect citizen and heroin as powerful as the hero inspiring . I can't beleive Akshey Kumar expected a tax break for his movie ! He shd raise his standard to Hindustan Ki Kasam , Sharmili , Boarder , shalimar , His is a B grade movie . We need to wake up the sleeping Indian's Patriotism . Be it movies ( a great platform to reform ) or Cricket .( our real life hero 's so important that they follow the moral code !) more  

Some body should not be called a modern man because he can talk in ubusive or vulgar language.will same people use the same abusive language when their parents and own children are available.It was pure non sence and some body did right by removing them. more  

This Republic Day, we have seen something which we cud never even dream of since the past 60yrs. 2 distinct aspects stood out. Which everybody has seen but Im sure no one has digested. 01. Women leading the men's contingent. And, 02. All women contingent of the 3 services. This wud not have happened if not from a directive from the PMO and subsequently the Defense Ministry. This is the amount of stress the present govt is putting on the overall development of women. In case some women fail to see or do not want to see this aspect. The galaxy of women leaders which BJP presents at the moment is 2nd to none. Nirmala Seetaraman, Meenakshi Lekhi, Kiran Bedi, Gujarat CM Anandiben, Vasundhara Raje, Uma Bharati, Pinky Anand, Smriti Irani, Asefa Khan, Najma Heptullah, Hema Malini, and many more. Secondly, as per my previous comment, any comment made by a person shud be taken in the right context, and shud never be generalized. I myself have 3 daughters of my own. Im a hard core BJP Supporter, carefully developed since the past 20-22yrs, and will be so till my death. Does it mean that, I shall ask my daughters to have 4 kids each? Like me, there r millions of BJP Members & Supporters with no kids, or 1 kid or 2 kids. All of us wil be forced to have 4 kids??? All of us who have daughters will send our daughters to manage the choola-chakka and become children rearing machines??? How silly can one's imagination get??? And, if u go as per this statement or Bhagwat ji's statements, the 1st person who does not qualify to be in the BJP is Shri Modiji, or Jaitley or Meenakshi Lekhi, or Nirmala Seetaraman, etc, etc, etc. Because he (Modiji) has stayed as a bachelor with no kids. 99% of present BJP Members or Supporters will not qualify, to be part of BJP if we go as per their statements. We all come from patriarchal or matriarchal societies where we have had the privilege of spending some time with our valued grandparents. And being grandparents, they wud always advise our parents, as to why they r giving us so much freedom? or, why sending the girl to college instead of marrying them? or why coming home late? or why the delay in having kids? or why the delay in marrying? etc, etc, etc. My query is, do we stop talking to our grandparents who have such regressive views about us? Do we stop eating with them? Do we kick them out of the house? What our parents did, or rather do is take these comments in context and ask their parents to mind their own business if their regressive advises increases beyond a limit. But, does the love our grandparent have towards us decrease at any point, even when we wear jeans and roam in front of them??? I personally feel this bias against the BJP by certain women is self imposed, wrongly attributed, and heavily influenced by the Secular Media. The sooner those women come out of such 'self destructive' views and trample the Secular Views they r tied to umbilical, we as a nation cannot progress. more
