Businesses unnecessarily concerned about AAP

this is what he said in an interview today...

Do you think the private sector has an important role to play in the Indian economy?

I think at a very broad level the government has no business to be in business. The government should leave business to the private sector. We have to encourage private enterprise and I think India is a country of entrepreneurs. In India, almost every person is a born entrepreneur - a rickshaw-wallah is an entrepreneur, a farmer is an entrepreneur. This entire business and industry is shackled in the rules and regulations - we need to free them from all these rules and regulations. We need to provide them a free environment, honest environment, to do business. If we provide them a good environment, I think India will go ahead leaps and bounds.

Give him some time, don't get too anxious. Even our circle here stands to do amazing things. We have brought 16000 Delhi people together in one month, now we will bring AAP elected reps and construct a direct channel into the CM. Has anyone done what AAP is doing before. I am confident that this citizen movement will WIN. some people will drop off, many more will join but we will get there.

Very meaningful view Nitin. more
Ruchika, while your thought at a macro level is appropriate, there are limitations where certain businesses will certainly be regulated or rather should be regulated. What is more important is to ensure clarity, transparency and avoiding areas of conflict. Separately, the reason why businesses are concerned about AAP is because AAP has so far not been able to come up with a forward looking economic agenda and they have stayed away from meeting with Corporates to maintain their image of aam aadmi. I think if AAP really wants to make an impact at a national level, they shall immediately start engaging with corporates, industry forum, industry champions to understand the problems for each sector as well as come up a separate Industry/ Economy manifesto addressing their stance for each of the sectors. They can invite suggestions from each industry and have a panel to review that which of the demands are in national interest. Accordingly, incorporate all suggestions in a separate manifesto and force every political party to debate it. The reason why other political parties dont like to be transparent on their policies is that it gives them room for corruption when they come to power. Initiating this trend can definitely put AAP as a forward looking party with an objective of supporting the industry. This can also allow them to raise funding in a transparent and a structured manner. more
I endorse you view and support your mission. more
