Builders can be arrested for non delivery of flat
IN A stern message to all builders, the National Consumer Commission (NCC) has held that officials of real estate firms can be arrested for failing to hand over flats or make refunds on time.
State Consumer Commission can now order the arrest.

we must all form a group and file a class action suit against unitech for the fraud and default for doing nothing and nor refunding money more

Another important part NCC has spelt out is if buyers form a group and dues from builder collectively are more than Rs one crore , group members can approach NCC directly bypassing District and State Commissions . more

This is a constructive step. But tell me how many builders have so far been arrested for not delivering on time. We must practically do it to teach BUILDERS a lesson because hardly any Builder has ever delivered premises in time. PLEASE REMEMBER IT IS THE HARD EARNED MONEY OF THE BUYER. Why are we hesitant to put them behind bars, The NCC has taken one step while the authorities should implement it. more
