Brother there will be no need of any leader to hold the post of CM at
Haryana. Now definition of democracy has been changed and whole nation is
to be ruled by only person who requested for voting for him with full
majority and people had voted for him. Thus there will be no need to
nominate any particular person else. Take an example of Govt at centre
where all things are controlled/done/decided by PMO only. more
Shiv Avtarji, now the situation is different more
Basantji, I tend to agree with your assessment of substance in speeches full of rhetorics. Even address in USA to the audience was only repetition of same slogans. People have given a massive mandate to BJP primarily because of extreme dissatisfaction with the UPA Govt and there being no serious alternative to what they chose. BJP did exceedingly well in

marketing Modi as a decisive leader, something exactly opposite to what Mr. Manmohan Singh was perceived to be. Governance was the real sufferer during this period and BJP naturally reaped huge gain from that. However, total silence and inaction on the part of Mr. Modi in respect of extremely divisive & sometimes radical statements of some of the ruling party constituents, has put a question mark on decisiveness of the current PM. Lack of in depth understanding as well as a plan for some of the announcements, creates further doubts on the real capability to 'walk the talk' of current leadership.
I would certainly give some more time to the Govt. To act & prove me wrong in my assessment. I will be the happiest man to admit my error of judgement if proven wrong. My appeal to all Indians would be to be very observant of all actions of the Govt. The next budget would be a critical milestone in judging the Govt's intent seriously. We should also understand the importance of an effective opposition in order to keep a check on the direction Govt takes. We should not forget the real danger of putting all eggs in one basket. This is also a great opportunity to bring into the political system, people of integrity and substance by rejecting all candidates with criminal or corrupt background. more
