Asking Caterer/Service Provider for Bill
Many of us in day to day life do our dealings without bill because the bill involves service tax. From common man to Senior Govt leaders/industrialist all do it. Isn't that dishonesty, tax evasion and form of corruption? more

This comment I have been hering from the day when Income Tax was levies at the highest reate of 97% during late Krishnamachari Finance Ministership. People have been telling that right from then. The taxes came down from that level to 75% then to 50% to 45% to 40% but each time we were hearing the same thing.People were telling if the taxes are brought down to 30% we will pay off taxes to the last pie. Alas that has not happened. It is not the tax rate that stands in the way. It is the mind set as to why I should pay tax when I am earning the income through my efforts and personal swetting. We forget that we as citizens of the Country have an obligation to paa taxes. We forget our obligations and fight for the rights. That is the starting point of all ills. Unless the entire culture is changed we will not change. We may speak anything and we will speak and sermon till it will not affect us but onnce it pinches our pocket we behave differently. more

Dear Sir, If you say if Govt spends my tax money properly I will pay taxes otherwise I have an excuse not to pya proper taxes. This is very the down fall starts. If every thing is all right wheere is necessicity for AAP. As AAP members or sympathisers should we not first become atleaset now honest. Should we not keep our concious clean before we preach others or point fingers at others. Charity should start at home and let us first get ourselves corrected before we point our fingures at others. more

I'm in favour of abolishing all taxation and looking for other ways of generating or collecting government revenue. One way is to invite voluntary contribution. more
