Are banks fooling with businesses?

Banks are sending companies such messages. Can the Govt please confirm this or tell the banks to stop harraasing businesses. Were the banks sleeping till april 24th to tell me my deadline is april 30th?

Dear Customer, as per RBI directives, periodic KYC updation has to be conducted by all banks. We request you to provide KYC documents for your Account by 30-Apr-18 as non-submission of KYC may lead to debit freeze of your account. more
