Adani’s auditor

Can someone please share why I company like adani with lakhs of crores of net worth does not use a professional audit firm and instead uses home grown local boys with 5-7 years of experience to do audits.

I am glad that this subject has been picked up in the circle. Everyone should vote. And another question should be asked of those who believe they are not concerned. Is that because of proximity to the ruling party? more

How is it possible for such a big company to have unaudited accounts? Every companys accounts have to be audited bya licensed auditor, a CA,  else the accounts won;t be cleared by the RoC Affairs ! On Sunday, 29 January, 2023 at 01:32:46 pm IST, Sudesh Rai wrote: more
A CA with 5-7 years experience is fully qualified to conduct audit of any business organisation. more
It doesnot matter whether the money is borrowed or is your own, money must generate a decent rate of return. Most of the business areas are in regulated areas - power generation/transmission and distribution/roadways/gas distribution. Thing is that if the legal documentation is watertight and the price purchase agreement are carefully structured, if required skills exist for speedy implementation of the projects and the deal is signed, a bankable proposition results. An entrepreneyrer's ability to fight out in courts and also wait till there is a resolution may have a better chance of success than who has the right documentation, but doesnot have the financial strength to cope with delayed payments. more
The rise of a particular company in such a short span to such a high level is amusing to common and definitely regulators must be scrutinizing them from close. However, the foreign hands of a private agency, sensationalizing on X, Y, Z... must not be doing as charity. Their intentions look suspicious, not only to those proximate to ruling party at national level or opposition parties ruling the states but to all who have a little bit national pride (not anti-national). Govt. of India agencies must investigate on this firm and its sponsor, through Interpol! more
