Acute Issue of Non Availability of Essential Items
Despite the government promising that essential supplies such as milk, vegetable, fruits, groceries, etc will continue to be available we are not able to get them.
People like us are asked not to step out for any reason and the online suppliers have stopped deliveries in Mumbai stating govt restrictions on movement - even our milk supply has stopped!
Why is the government not allowing home deliveries? What can people like us do in such circumstances?

Situation is pretty bad.I live in Chembur East near Maitri Park ST Stand.There are long queues in Ratna Stores,the nearby Stores.Again long queues for vegetables.Situation is so risky.Home delivery is the only solution.Some claim home deliveries but you never get those numbers.Govt should all home delivery agencies to operate with due precautions which will be far better than crowding Shops and inviting trouble more

Same situation in PCMC area area as well , shop keeper are increased rate as per saying they are getting with high rate as well it seems it will be worse post week time more

Pl share your location / area we can arrange to help you, else you can approach your local police station and seek their help, surely they would be helpful. Pl write back your experience, surely. Stay In Stay Safe more

Which part of Mumbai do you stay? I am in touch with relatives and friends in South Mumbai, Central areas, Chembur-Govandi area and Western suburbs but nobody complains of getting need-based commodities. We are at Mulund East and though not allowed to step out of the society gate, we do not face any difficulty in getting essentials ordered online or on phone. The vendors are not allowed entry in the society premises but we can collect the colloquial ordered from the delivery boy at the gate. As the CM has announced time and again, shops dealing in essentials of daily needs are doing their business during the given time. more
