Act now against stray and pet dog menaces

A Swiggy delivery boy,Rizwan died at a hospital in Banjara Hills PS limits. He was attacked by a pet dog while he went for delivery&fell down the first floor of the building while trying to escape. Banjara Hills Police registered a case against Shobana, the dog's owner

When 6 in 10 of us believe that this is a menace and mandatory registration must be done along with clear do’s and don’ts why it isnt happening.

I can see only one reason, none of us are taking this finding to our municipal commissioner. Instead we are hoping he/she will magically find out and take action. Lets get going folks!! more

Section 302 of IPC ( culpable homicide not amounting to murder)should be included for this types of deaths against the pet owners more
Dogs should not be allowed inside residential apartments more
Keeping dog in society flats must not be allowed at all. All stray dogs must be taken by MCD and removed from residential areas. We Indians are following English people. Even in England one cannot keep pet dogs in a flat but only in bungalow where you can construct a dog house out side your home in lawn. You will not find any stray dogs in any devloped country like US,England, Germany etc. more
Good suggestion. more
The problem need to be split, first address the stray dog issue as the pet dogs issue may be mostly tied to the owners of the pets and with more discipline these issues can be reduced. Did we tag the issue with GHMC commissioner? By tagging your request to GHMC we can make GHMC team look into this issue. more
