AAP's first list of Lok Sabha polls candidates in 10-15 days..

After its success in the Delhi assembly polls, the Aam Aadmi Partjavascript:;y's (AAP) national executive is meeting in New Delhi on Saturday to decide its strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Before going into the meeting, AAP leader and Delhi chief minister Kejriwal said apart from the upcoming general elections, all issues related to the party will also be discussed in the meeting.

However, there will be no discussions with regard to the names of the candidates for the polls, he said.

Speaking to reporters, senior AAP leader Yogendra Yadav said the country must have better options than Rahul Gandhi and Narendra Modi for the Prime Minister's post.

Asked if he would like to see Kejriwal as the Prime Minister he said, "We have again and again said that Rahul and Modi's fight (for the post) is unfortunate. The country must have better options than this."

"But are we in the position (to say that Kejriwal should occupy the post). We will have to discuss that. My dream is to see Kejriwal as the Prime Minister. He is capable of it but in politics one has to see... strength and where we stand," he said.

Yadav said, "It is the first meeting of the national executive which is our highest decision-making body of the party so the idea would be to review what we did in Delhi and to plan for the Lok Sabha elections, to have a national perspective.

"There are also some organisation matters to be settled," Yadav said.

AAP leader Sanjay Singh said the first list of party candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections should be out in 10 to 15 days.

AAP has already decided to fight all the seats in Gujarat and will also contest in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.

Apart from party leaders in Delhi, key functionaries from Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana and Tamil Nadu are present at the meeting.

Kejriwal's ministerial colleague Manish Sisodia, Anjali Damania and Mayank Gandhi are also attending the meeting.

The 23-member AAP national executive is meeting at the Constitution Club in New Delhi.

AAP SHALL CONSIDER CANDIDATE FROM KERALA,WEST BENGAL,UTTRAKHAND,NORTH EAST STATES,ANDRAPREDESH,BIHAR,JHARKHAND,KARNATAKA more
Arvind Kejriwal is more dangerous than congress. This is a big game plan of congress to keep BJP out of power in the next LS election. C 1) Kejriwal will fulfill all the promises of AAP like reducing power tarrif and giving 700 litres of water at least for two months...so that he can develop a image of most developing PM candidate and the can overpower the image of Modi.. Any govt can easily run the govt for three months even if its bankrupt. Giving free water and reducing power tariff will affect the Delhi state exchequer badly but this is something is hidden charges carried by the AAP govt. 2) The aim of AAP is not to win in the LS election but to chunk a large portion of Anti-congress votes....which will go to BJP..even if AAP succeed in getting 30‚000 votes in urban areas this will reduce the chance of BJP getting win on at least 30 seats...on the contrary this will increase the congress seats by 30-40. 3) now the calculation will go like this if LS election is declared today and AAP doesnt contest election than BJP will win on 200+ seats and Modi will surely become the PM..congress will win on 90-100 seats....but as explained above there will be a decrease in BJP and increase in congress seats by 30-40. Now the seats share is congress 125-135 and BJP 160-170... 4) Though BJP is still the largest party like in Delhi it won't be able to form the govt as all the parties except Shiv sena and akali dal will support to congress in the name of psedu secularism including the newly Patriotic party AAP as they did in Delhi now and BJP will sit in opposition...it will be a Delhi picture.... 5) now wat next congress will nominate Kejriwal as PM and will be part of govt just as happened in Delhi..... This is because the aim of congress is not to win but to clean the image of congress and wat can be a better process to nominate newly so called immandaar Arvind for PM and the aim of AAP is not to win but stop BJP from win.. 6) Arvind talks good just like Mahatma Gandhi...it is Gandhi who stopped Sardar Patel in becoming PM and made Nehru as the PM. History repeats itself Arvind is next Nehru and Modi is Patel... It is after 60 yrs people realized the mistake of 1947 now it willtake another 60 yrs to realize who Kejriwal is? Hats off to congress politics. spread it as soon as possible as we don't wnt to repeat the mistake that happened in 1947 Sent on my BlackBerry® from Vodafone more
Mr.Kejriwal should have accommodation and security as per laid down norms for Chief Minister of capital of India that is Delhi. it is not his personal choice. It is government protocol. He should abide by the law of the land. He is no longer head of NGO, but he is Delhi CM. He should get the house and facilities which chief ministers were getting earlier. He has no choice, he can not dilute norms already established. Moreover bungalows are already existing, No new bungalow is being built for him. He should occupy one of the existing bungalows he is entitled to as CM. more
AAP leaders are immature-inexperienced and they must prove their worth before taking a giant leap. On Sun, Jan 5, 2014 at 10:31 AM, Deepak Jain wrote: > more
here again we are traped. Every party says it is their dram to see their leader in PM post. AIDMK says amma is the only person fit to be PM. congres says RaGa, BJP says NaMo, SP says Mulayam, NcP says Sharad, JDU says Nitish and we also have falln in to the same trap that the dream is to see AK as PM. Mr. Yogendra Yadav still seems to have some remnents of congress left in him. Otherwise the allegations that we are being used to divide the vote and allow congress which is the most corrupt party to come back to powere due to the match fixing that has happened will get credence. more
