I hope AAP leaders have understood the complexity of Indian legal system. It is not understood by any common man. This gets substantiated by the statement of Hon'ble Justice that the law is not even understood by an educated person. In a country where more than 70% population is in rural areas, it is not understood that the laws are framed for which beneficiaries. Now when the laws have been enacted for bed rooms and bed rooms are used by each and every citizen, I still dont understand how each and every family can engage a lawyer to understand the law. I read in books that Laws are nothing else but a "common sense". But I find "common sense" missing in most of the Laws specially where a common and uneducated poor man is the main stakeholder in the Law.
I feel first priority of any Govt. should be to make them simplified and should follow the principle of "common sense" more

So it is not to your liking that concept of BAIL is related to admission of guilt and existence of violation of some LAW , what LAW ? that FREEDOM of SPEECH is a CRIME ? or that FREEDOM of SPEECH was defamation even without checking of EVIDENCE ? Sounds as if everything that is not to the liking of CONGRESS and BJP is against LAW ! Raam Rajya aa gaya hai more
it is like everywhere in the word. Laws are good only implementation is an issue. Please do not reject everything which is not as per our liking. more
IPC written by Britishers in 1840 to rule India, Keep this thing in mind and Common Sense will work. :) ...Salman Khan killed 5 persons in drink and drive case. And He is innocent and roaming free. .... In 1947 we continue using these laws because it was very difficult to change it immediately. But i think later our leaders decided that these laws are good and it would help them in ruling this country. more
Virmaniji I once happened to listen to Prof. Upendra Baxi (prof of Law and VC of DU.). I asked him are u satisfied that the laws are drafted in the most simple form. If yes then why the decisions of lower courts are many times reversed by upper courts. His answer was striking. When I said believe me, even I do not understand many of the laws, because many interpretation can follow from each one of them.so you are right From: support@localcirclesmail.com To: ds_bhupal@hotmail.com Subject: New post "I hope AAP leaders have u..." in [Aam Aadmi Party Delhi/NCR] Date: Sat, 24 May 2014 07:09:57 +0000 more
I am thankful to one and all for their nice comments. I personally feel that if there is expectation of any radical changes in laws to ensure speedy justice and prevent abuse, it will be too much of expectation from BJP. I remember BJP started winding up of PSU (not loss making) in years 2000 without even thinking of employment of young engineers as old as 30 years. There were hardly 300 employees and could have been absorbed. The Minister was Shri Pramod Mahajan. Whatever the promises are made during the election campaigning are the vote bank promises and dead sure it was supplemented by the people desire to come out of congress regime of dynasty rule and hence the public might have voted as an alternative. AAP movement at least for the time being has been crushed by many many decade old political experienced parties. more
