Press Release : AAP will oppose Modi govt's reported move to dilute Whistleblower protection bill
Narendra Modi government is trying all tricks to weaken the fight against corruption and is continuously taking steps to strengthen the corrupt and give them all ways to escape after looting the precious resources of the country. The steps of the Narendra Modi government suggest that it has plans to engage in corruption more severe than its preceding UPA government and it is now preparing ground to avert a fate similar to the UPA.

Media reports suggest that Narendra Modi led BJP government has moved a legislation according to which citizens cannot have the absolute right to blow a whistle if they see a corruption happening around them. As per a revelation made through RTI, the amendments to the Whistleblowers' Protection Act as planned by the BJP government would kill the anti-corruption movement in the country and could be even be used harass the crusaders again corrupt system.

Aam Aadmi Party will strongly oppose inside and outside the Parliament any amendments in the Act which is currently under consideration of the Rajya Sabha.

If the amendments are passed then it will give a free hand to the Narendra Modi government to incur corrupt practices in bidding and tenders in the crucial defence and economic sectors like stock exchange etc in the country. The amendments will also stop the whistle blower to act in cases of environment pollution or projects which lead to ecological disaster.

The move of the Narendra Modi government clearly aims at protecting itself from the probable future corruption allegations and also to put a blanket cover on the last fourteen months of unabated freebies to the corporates and drain of public wealth and resources.

Aam Aadmi Party and its frontal organizations would do things needed to make public aware of the ill intentions of the Narendra Modi government to loot the country and to throttle the anti-corruption movement. more

Dear Surendra Aggarwal ji. Surprisingly you regretfully withdrew support after AK extended support to Nitish. If you reveiw past records, you will find beyond doubt that Nitish Kumar has been the best ever CM, Bihar has ever produced in history. Only one fact that migration from Bihar reduced substantially because growth rate was highest in Bihar since inception and was more than any state in India during Nitish regime, is enough to prove my point. It was another matter that he got victimized politically and lost election. So far as Lalu is concerned, you can not scan each and every associate especially when Nitish is on the driver's seat and not Lalu. Further, AK has not made any alliance and extended support only. more
Mr Rakesh Kashyap and Mr Surrendra Agarwal please read the remarks of Mr Sunil Agarwal reproduced below and decide who is wearing Modi Goggles : effective steps taken by BJP Govt to eliminate corruption 1) Central Govt don't want to bring political parties under RTI. 2) Central Govt. want to dilute Whistleblower Protection Bill. 3) Central Govt. passed orders that ACB has no authority to file and prosecute corrupt officers of DDA, MCD, Police etc even though caught red-handed. 4) Central Govt did not allow prosecution against 100+ CNG scam to protect LG and Sheila Dikshit. 5) Central Govt want to support corruption and black money generation by not allowing to increase circle rates in Delhi which were aimed at reducing black money in property transactions by making circle rates closer to market rate and ligitimate revenue increase to the Govt. 6) Central Govt controlled Delhi Police falsely implicated Delhi MLAs for trying to stop police taking bribe. 7) Delhi Police given authority to prosecute Delhi CM for calling bribe taking police personnel "Thulla", but no action against BJP MLA calling lady MLA "Drug addict and Gundi". 8) Central Govt is very reluctant to prosecute against Vyapam Scam, fecilitating illegal migration, murder cases against MPs. Please do support Modi Govt for above without any second thought. Now decide who is creating corruption and who is trying to remove corruption, why Political Parties should not be under RTI please give one good reason. more
Dear Surender Aggarwalji, IT HAS BEEN PROVED BEYOND DOUBT THAT MODI/BJP GOVT IS MILLION TIMES MORE CORRUPT THAN CONGRESS. SOME BJP PEOPLE WANT 2 SABOTAGE AK/AAP GOVT'S IMAGE UNSUCCESSFULLY BY CALLING THEM AAP SUPPORTERS & NOW WITHDRAWING SUPPORT CITING SOME IRREVERENT FALSE EXCUSE. I AGAIN PUT HERE Mr Sunil Dutt Agarwal's COMMENT 4 U ONCE AGAIN 2 REFRESH U AND LET U KNOW WHERE OUR DEMOCRACY IS HEADING FOR UNDER MODI GOVT. Effective steps taken by BJP Govt to eliminate corruption 1) Central Govt don't want to bring political parties under RTI. Dear Guha ji, You guys are wearing such a colored glass that every action of Modi Govt. appears to u favoring corruption. I was a supporter of AAP till Kejriwal joined hands with Nitish and thereby indirectly supporting Lalu Yadav. What I have realized gradually that it is impossible to catch all the corrupt persons, because almost entire govt. machinery is either corrupt or inefficient. This Kejriwal HAD been trying unsuccessfully. Why I have used the word HAD because he has lost the moral grounds by joining forces in Bihar including those who are the most corrupt persons in the land not only through media trial but declared corrupt by the courts. On the other hand such systems should be developed, which are transparent and reduce the chances of corruption to the minimal. This is what Modi is trying to do. Instead of wasting energy in finding out WHO is wrong, ( Though that should also be done) His govt. is finding out WHAT is wrong and HOW to correct it. The words WHAT and HOW are more positive because the chances of further corruption will be reduced. I would request all the intellectuals to see the things objectively and not through premindset. more
If AAP tells them self is a honest party then why Kejiriwal approached to corrupt politician Niteesh k & Laoo it means do not say Kejari is innocent person & he is also very clever like other politicians & to create problem for others. more
