PWD 4. Transport Department 5. RTOs One of the root cause of corruption in such departments besides convenience fee to get illegal job done is non-availability of benchmark of services, non-awareness and penalties thereof. PWD purchases to be least commented. If PWD can be advised to put all their purchase order on the public domain, it could atleast deter them for their exaggerated purchase values. Accountability of the public officials towards any illegal constructions etc. if fixed can also bring down the level of corruption. Like passport, the citizens could apply for driving licence online. Benchmark of services for District Courts could also be thought of. Some of the decisions would require only administrative orders without being debated in the House and could give a signal to the corrupt departments significantly.

Thanks for the valuable suggestions provided by Mr. Virmaniji. There are more departments under Delhi Govt. which are equally corrupted like the departments mentioned above . In DJB , Domestic consumers are facing huge inflated water bill . What are the reasons behind this . An in-depth investigation has to be carried out to root out this problem . Being associated with the consumer problems I have found that some consumers are getting a bill around Rs. 57000/- per Quarter . When they are not getting any solution from DJB, they are approaching to PGC constituted by Delhi Govt . Getting solution through PGC is also time constraint . more
