Dear Friends, I had mailed on 03/07/2014 a concern which is self explanatory to Commissioner of Police, Delhi. The content of the mail:
"I am reproducing content of the post on face book which I feel requires your immediate attention (will be delighted if some advise is released for immediate action)
"PMO India Delhi Traffic Police MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF DELHI DMRC This is the snap taken on Mathura Road today (03/07/2014) at a place near Hyundai showroom in Sarita Vihar, Delhi just below the metro line. This is not the first time a snap of this place is being posted here but posted several times even on the wall of Delhi Traffic Police as the issue is also of traffic concern. The place just on the divider on a busy Mathura Road, a National Highways Authority of India is being tried to be occupied by one community and I also feel that some police officials are also involved in grabbing this piece of land under the pretext of religion as could be evident from snaps in this face book account.
Slowly and slowly this is the structure that has come up in this place and need to be removed without delay of even a single day. This place is not only being grabbed illegally by the community but also is a great risk to motorists. Lets see how the present government deals with such illegal grabbing. A copy of the snap is being sent to Delhi Police Commissioner alongwith copy of the content this post. "

With regards"

Commissioner of Police responded vide email dtd. 26/07/2014 reproduced as:
"Thanks for your E-mail. Your E-mail has been acknowledged by Commissioner of Police, Delhi and the same has been referred to the Joint Commissioner of Police/Southern Eastern Range for further necessary action and your reference No.is 9656/E-mail dated 03/07/2014. His office telephone No. 23490010 Extn 4257 and his e-mail ID is jtcp-ser-dl@nic.in"

Today being Thursday, I ahappen to pass through the same area again and surprised to see that even after about a month no action has been taken by even the top brass of Delhi Police. A photograph taken at the place is posted here.

How the country could be transformed is a billion dollar question. more

very concerning... more
this situation makes me feel why good governance is needed more
Maybe an RTI application to know what action has been taken, if any or proposed to be taken within a defined time frame, in respect of the complaint, will help. It is our misfortune that no official dares to do anything when the matter is perceived to have religious overtones. The matter should also be escalated to higher echelons of govt and followed up regularly, till it's resolution. more
Dear Mr. Ajit Dutta, Thanks for your nice analysis of the snap. About two months back it was a raw land and from the day one I have been writing to Delhi Police Commissioner with snaps incl posting on facebook tagging Delhi Traffic Police. This area is the divider on the main mathura road which is National Highway. This would be a great threat to the motorist being traffic hazards. One or two times I spotted police personnel doing pooja and it seems they are the master mind. Incidentally I posted this article in Modi Circle also but the member even may be more than a lakh have not even viewed the article that just reflect ho much they are interested in public issues. @ Mr. Sumit Bajaj, I am not confined to posting issues only in the circle but do raise such issues to the concerned authority by emailing them. This case might have been mailed to Police Commissioner atleast 4 times. @Ms. Pooja Gupta, Your issue is well being sent to concerned authorities. However it is being delayed as I am in the process of compiling some connected information. I hope to do so in another two weeks or so. I am thankful to all those visiting the posts. . more
From day one we know the fact that just by posting our agony and concerns here on this portal wont really lead the problems anywhere. I think we have to think and jump out of this box and try to meet regularly (at least for Delhi/NCR residents) who can collectively approach govt. department in polished way and ask for solutions. In my previous posts I tried to shout a loud on same, but none came forward. Sumit more
