If your telephone/broadband connection remains dead for more than 3 days and up to 7 days despite your complaint, the consumer is entitled to rental rebate for 7 days. The rental rebate is for 15 days if it remains dead for more than 7 days and up to 15 days and if the connection still remains dead for more than 15 days then you are entitled for full month rental rebate.

Have you ever faced this difficulty and not got the rental rebate? Unless you enforce your entitlement, one can not expect improvement in the quality of services. more

A company charged an amount of Rs. 50/- from a customer for migration of plans and such fee was not chargeable. It was reported and matter went till the regulatory authorities. Finally when the accounts were audited, it was revealed that the companies have charged such amount of Rs. 50/- each unethically from several customers and total amounts added to Rs. 85 Crores. My submission before all consumers is it is not the matter of few rupees but it is a matter of improving quality of services ultimately quality of our life. Please forgive/excuse me if I have overstepped. more
