28 clearances for retail store
and 13 for eateries will be reduced Says the Government but how is what I wonder. Does someone have a list of all the clearances needed and how can Central Government take such a call.
From what I understand Shops and establishments act is a state or local law. How can Central Govt modify it?

Central Govt can give guidelines for a base Clearance need while State Govts can add to the same based on the local situation (geography, culture etc.) more

It is questioned that how central govt can modify the rule, I feel there should be " one nation, one rule " and its implementation can be in hands of the state. Madam Mamta's declaration that I don't accept Modi as PM is bringing India into the bewildering situation of different states as independent countries. more

What is the relevance of Mdm. Mamata's bewildered comments in the discussion for rationalisation/ simplification of rules and procedures. We need to exercise utmost restrain on ourselves so as to preserve the objective of this forum, and not to make it a vehicle of street politics - generating and distributing insinuating innuendos. more
