0.5% corruption less since last year

With personal experience I would like to share that there is 0.5% corruption less since last year. I would also like to inform that the officers holding ranks of DCP & ACP do not know to operate computers and use the digital signatures, their clerks who are not qualified by Law, use the computers and digital signatures for these officers. The online Applications are not approved in 7 working days as well the applications are rejected for no reasons at all, where as some other officer of other area approves the same set of documents. Most of the corruption I face is in Municipal Corporation, Labour Depatment of Thane Pune, Maharashtra Labor Welfare Board, Sales Tax Department where the officer do not give Registration Certificate without accepting huge amount of bribe, it is openly demanded or else the application is rejected.
During Inspection, inspite of providing all the registers and documents the officer demands bribe for any silly reasons, which might not have any importance.
All the Govt departments should have cameras, online procedures need to be monitered, there must be a helpdesk for the enquires.
The clerks in the govt. departments use the official computers, electricity of the department to fill up the online forms of the clients and charge around Rs. 2000 for each applications, which is a type of bribe taken by the clerks.
Unless and untill the corruption is uprooted there is very little chance of getting new business.
Number of licence and registrations should come under a single window as well an office with all the knowledge should be appointed for the help of the enterpreneur. more

Good to hear this.. some positives... more
People by and large have to encounter corruption in basic/secondary education; health services; trade tax issues; lower courts; registration of property; nagar palikas; fair price shops etc.. Unfortunately, most of the services come in the domain of State Govts.. Unless, State Govts. take drastic actions to check corruption, things won't improve for common people. more
Dear Rekha, thanx for sharing few facts. corruption at higher level, that is ministerial level, of central govt. is completely stopped. but at bureaucratic level it still exists. but i hope, it will also be vanished soon. as far as the on line rejection of any application is concerned, you have right to ask the reasons of rejection, cc this quarry doc to higher ups, also find out the feed back center at ministerial level of concerning dept. your problem can be resolved by one of the above two levels. as far as computer operation skills of bureaucrats is concerned, they are really very weak in this.even after proper training for it. still they are unable to operate or in some cases they do'nt want to do so, as they see computer as typewriter indeed!and officers never type anything! however our prim minister do so in a very very normal way!!!!!!! anyway , wish you good luck for success. more
