Dear Mr. Deepak Jain, the Gas price hike is the typical style of Reliance. The rationale of hiking gas price to the level of USD 8.2 is that it is the price of imported gas. But the fact is that it is not imported gas! It is produced in our own country! And the fact is that the price of the gas in the producing countries is very less; ranging from USD 2.4 to USD 4.2; from Middle East, Russia to US. But the price being given to Reliance is USD 8.2. This will be doubling the price that is being given now. The other rationale is that the cpital and operational costs warrant this price. The fact is that these costs are so very inflated in the project imports, parking moneys outside the country and bringing them back through various channels. It is a complete loot of the public resources. Like, Anil Ambani first inflated the project costs in Delhi Airport Metro project and then got out of it by offloading all the debt to the Government on the basis of small pretext like structural faults in some pillars. Just imagine, DMRC has executed this projecall over Delhi and the structural faults are only observed in the Airport Metro!. But that is the way Ambanis operate... more

Thanks Satyarthji for appreciating my post. The public out cry in Delhi, due to power failures, has come about earlier than expected. The same, against crony capitalism, seems to be round the corner. AK has sought an appointment with PM, to discuss restoration of power to Delhi. Lets if he get that appointment? more
A glimpse of how public money is utilized by UPA and NaMo http://www.business-standard.com/article/companies/10-things-you-should-know-about-the-reliance-kg-d6-gas-deal-114021200357_1.html https://aamjanata.com/reliance-gas-price-issue-mukesh-ambani-fir-dummies/ more
Jetleyji fought an election and lost, unlike most other BJP candidates, who, due to a set of very favourable conditions-call it a wave if you like- have won; and therefore may have begun to think that getting elected is a walk in the park. Jetleyji realizes that public mood can be very fickle and can change without notice; something AAP, too, understood but only a little late. So Jetleyji has stated, in the Raj Sabha, " do governance or perish ". But crony capitalism & campaign expense pay back run counter to this principle. How the govt will reconcile this, remains to be seen. If you follow TV debates on the present power crisis in Delhi it would seem that for the next 49 years AAP could be held responsible for all the problems of Delhi?! more
@Namita Garg : The price is decide by the Oil by digging out cost as per the respective country (which include machinery charges & labour cost ) : Why we refer to other countries when we know that the labour cost nad other charges are not costly so as per the decided prices and as SATISH KHURANA Ji stated that we are not importing the gas : more
Mr.Jetley is one person seems to be studying seriously all the matters that directly connect aam adami with "Mehngaai "and he feels himself responsible for finding out the solution which is not just practical but balanced as well. Do you think Mr.Modi is going to consider his advice? more
