Permanent Solution for AFGAN Problem vis a vis US. US is engaged in Afganistan peace process for many decades for now without any success in sight . Success alludes US because of dubious role being played by its longtime friend PAKISTAN . On the face of it , PAK is with US for reaping enormous monetary gains from US aid/doles and at the same time is working against its interests in AFGANISTAN . US failed to judge its friend for the past 70 years and had been blindly placating/pursuing its friend in quest for peace. So much so that US disregarded INDIA's friendship in the face of its pursuit to befriend PAK . B A L U C H P R O B L E M . PAKISTAN has always been governed since independence from British by its most dominant PUNJABI community who have vehemently oppressed all other Tribes and ethnic communities including BALUCH. Baluchistan was never a part of Pre-Partition India under British . It was an independent ethnic tribe . In 1948 Pakistan forcibly annexed this region which constitute 40% of total Pakistan area . All Civil Services and ARMY in Pakistan is dominated by PUNJABIS who share 80% of it amongst themselves. Though BALUCHISTAN is the biggest province by land area but its citizens are deprived of their legitimate share in governance .Human rights of Baluch nationals are violated with greater impunity . Though the province has considerable oil and gas reserves but its fruits do not accrue to its citizens . All oil revenue is appropriated by corrupt PUNJABIS . Therefore corrupt & selfish Army Generals are not ready to loosen grip over Elected Govt Machinery and for achieving this goal , they are mercilessly killing other ethnic communities and making them always remain engaged in false religious doctrines - RADICAL ISLAM . While Punjabis themselves remain perfectly saddled in top Govt job & Army and send their children to greener pastures in US & UK , they teach radical religious sermons to rest of the communities . Condition is so bad that 90% of the national resources are shared by 10% Punjabi landlords & Generals and 10% of the remaining national resources are shared by remaining 90% population .There has been no land holding reforms since independence . All land is held by few influential Landlords and others are petty labourers working for a pittance . S O L U T I O N . 1. US defense and civil supplies to Afghanistan are frequently interrupted/block by PAK Army on one pretext or the other and heavy bounty is demanded by PAK to allow US supply trucks to Afghanistan . So much so that at times supplies had to be routed through Uzbekistan . 2. Baluchistan is strategically placed south of AFGHANISTAN touching PAK on one side and IRAN on the other and has vast coast line with ARABIAN sea on the south . Taking it out from PAK fold and merging with AFGHANISTAN will be an ideal solution for lasting peace in AFGHANISTAN . AFGHANISTAN will greatly benefit from rest of the world including India if it gets an opening to sea routes from GWADAR port. Every other country's dependence on unreliable and notorious PAK will be eased . If however , Baluchistan wishes to maintain its separate identity , an amicable arrangement for sea opening for AFGHANISTAN can be worked out with independent country BALUCHISTAN REPUBLIC.This seems to be the only long term solution for peace in AFGHANISTAN . 3. US with help from India , Iran & Afghanistan should take lead in making Baluchistan Republic an independent country . Baluch people are fighting hard to come out of repressive Pakistan regime . Millions of Baluch have been killed by repressive Pak Army . It is the duty of US and other democratic regimes the world over to come out in support of Baluch peoples human rights which are being denied to them for last 68 years . more  

How to remove the thorn Article 370 from our throat? more  

While we are emotionally connected to Kashmir and want it to be fully integrated as all other states, we are tentative in our decisions and trying to bring consensus on complex issues.The decisions are pushed down on successive generations to negotiate and the wound on Nation's psyche festers. Russia needed Crimea for its strategic survival and accordingly ensured that it remains with it. China has South China sea at its interests and is pursuing it accordingly. The examples are too numerous to be enumerated as all Nations zealously safe guard their national interests and prevent others from interfering with it. Whatever is good for the long term perspective should be done for our country at the earliest . No country respects weak and dithering leadership .In nations where the decision makers are pragmatic ,they do not allow any interference from outsiders. Sad to see our country being torn apart since independence as we all watch helplessly for solutions....We need to whole heartedly support our government for the strong steps they are taking to resolve this issue. Our PM is the best hope to provide us a solution to break this impasse.In any controversy there are only 10 percent people who are opinion makers on both sides of the conflict , with the balance vast majority ready to align with the winning side . more
