They never issue the bill. Since discount is given customer is happy but poor customer is not knowing that he put a high price on the product then giving a small discount. When I inquired I was told by different shops that the so called tax on products is being collected by various party stalwarts on regular basis. And to make our benefits / salary of employees / rent / electricity and other expenses we use this method. In case some one wants to visit our office officially we will get information at least few days in advance so that we keep ready all records for their perusal.

please make changes from top. make politicians to obey policies and bind to the rules. a business man will get money from business and all other professionals can be analysed with their works, but how a politician is getting 100s of crores in a span of five years. they will shield themselves as they are the people who are framing rules. more

Generally shopkeepers especially in markets not provide bills for small amounts. Implies that all the amount goes in their pockets unaccounted and tax free. Customer forced to buy a product/items without bill as there is no other way to do. In markets, it is seen everywhere, like electrical, electronics parts, mechanical parts etc. And so far, no action by Govt is being taken to resolve the issue, even this will provide to collect more tax from them. It is happening in local hardware & machinery stores but in malls all shops and show rooms are issuing computer printed receipts duly showing the actual prices of the items purchased and the percentage & amount of discounts allowed as also the amount of taxes payable. In fact many of us feel shy of asking for the receipt and the shop keepers take the opportunity and avoid issuance of a receipt. more
