Since Jan 2015, I was feeling on and off a mild left knee joint pain. I was under the impression it was due to more walk / stress. In Jan 2016 swelling appeared around the left Knee joint with constant pain increase. Initially, I had referred to our family doctor who opined it to be Synovitis and advised medication for 15 days and show up with results The medication was mainly to reduce infection if any and pain killers in case of severe pain. Though the swelling did not reduce much, swelling appeared on face and feet. When informed the Doctor, suggested it was due to use of pain killers and suggested blood test, urine test, Knee X Ray, TB etc. Upon the test results, it was found Hemoglobin count was very much low. TB shown negative. Medication was advised for improving blood hemoglobin and calcium improvement. Any how, the pain was persisting I had referred to a Ortho and Rheumatologist in a renowned hospital who have advised Knee X Ray which did not show any positive result, suggested MRI of which report is enclosed which also did not suggest anything of concern. But the pain persisted on and off. Now they had suggested Nuclear Medicine - Bone Scan and awaiting the result. Though MRI report says "Suggestive possible ACL tear / degenaration" and 2nd point. Is there any Ayurvedic / Homeo medicine which can improve/strengthen ACL tear / degenaration if any. Suggest. more

Hi sujatha. There is no medicine which strengthen the ligament as its a avasular structure , your Acl might might be in grade 1 tear . You need some knee joint hamstring and quadriceps strengthening to support your ligament . See a Physio also you can try Rush Rox 200 homeo preparation 3 drops three times a day for 15 days with arnica 30 5 drops morning alternate day . Swelling on face and body might be due to low HB level improve your diet rich in protein and iron essential minerals like zinc and copper . more
Madam, I had gone through a very similar problem and experience years ago. I went through all the tests but again found nothing abnormal. I was introduced to a supplement by someone and I tried it. To my surprise & relief, the product really helped and today I live a pain free life by the grace of God. Glucosamine is a well known and trusted supplement the world over and has a good review of not causing any known side effects. It is said to aid in the knee and joint pain relief as it helps in lubricating the joints, builds synovial fluid and the worn out cartilage around the joints. I use one tablet in the morning and one at night after meals. Initially when the pain was severe, I was advised to take 2 tablets in the morning and 2 at night for 4 to 5 days till there was a relief from the excruciating pain, the tapered down. Regular exercise is a must and is beneficial after the pain has reduced. I buy my requirement from a reliable source online at: https://www.tripleclicks.com/15083432/detail?item=465342 You may want to try this out. I hope this is helpful. more
