Artificial knee replacement

Any members who have gotten a knee replacement please suggest what brands are good and working for them. Very concerned after the j&j hip replacement issues have been reported.

Also what doctors do u recommend in Delhi and Gurgaon?

Need thia info for my father. more

Ms Sen all the makes awailable have nearly the same design. The longevity of knee replacement is dependent more on the correct selection of implant and accuracy of procedure and avoidance of complications.In my long practice I have selected the implant for all my patients and not the patient ,depending on the profile and age God has been kind. more

The knee replacements are done hurriedly-no weight/slender-bending ratio is arrived at. 2.The top weight is always horribly high and can lead structural failures 3.If a bone specialist knows that-L4-L5 creates all problems and knee replacemnet bends-curves the spine at L-4/L-5. 4.Hurry to do such is in younger generation of bone surgeons. Remedies are-try youa-find weight and slender/bending postures[slowly-and in right direction] 6.Have proper calcium intake and reduction of body weight and if necessary go for replacement more
