I read about your knee pain and suggest you to do 3/4 exercises, (pulling your toes towards yourself and this will give you stress in thigh.

1. Most effective: Himalaya Shallakki, take 2 tabs a day for 3 - 6 months for effective relief.
Himalaya medicine is very economical, say around Rs.100 for a pak of 60 tabs. This has helped my mother, now 88.

2. Stir a tablespoon of epsom salt - available at some older pharmacies or native medicine
shops , in good steaming hot water. Soak a thick terry hand towel or any old cloth, partially squeeze excess water, then wrap around the pain area. keep for 5-10 mins and you can reheat the water and reuse. Good relief is done before bedtime, wrap an old shawl around the place before sleeping to retain the warmth, action.

There is a commonly found plant with broad light green leaves, quite common, the violetish flowers are used during Ganesh festival. Take 5-6 leaves, immerse in boiling water for 5 minutes. Let cool. Dip a towel in this liquid and wrap around pain area.

This happens mainly due to ligament connecting joints is disturbed or some time broken due to excessive use of hills shoes or some sudden jerk while walking or bending of feet at uneven places or floors. I am going through this phase since two years when my right knee ligament was injured by uneven floor at rest room. I contacted various doctor at Agersain hospital , MAX and fortis , Gangaram etc I was advice knee surgery to adjust ligament but I did not agree. I went to physiotherapy, medication etc. Doctor at Max advice me tablet " colazip" which I took for about four month then did CT scan again after about six month of incident there was considerable improvement . In aadition to it Iam taking one tablet of "GLUCOSAMINE" of (Schiff) daily my pain has improved up to 95% I am doing daily 3-4 kms walk , no difficulty in up and down of staircase. Please note colazip is available at max in house medicine store only , it is supplement not any medicine. more  
Whether tablet similar to "colazip" will be available in Bangalore? more  
Any authentic yoga institute near to City Centre , Noida? more  
yes without details it is not easy to recommend any therapy but i have overcome knee pain with iyengar yoga. basically you will have to build the muscles and not to take the weight on you knees while walking. yoga improves you body alignment and improves the posture. please learn from authentic yoga institute and not on youtube more
