1. Most effective: Himalaya Shallakki, take 2 tabs a day for 3 - 6 months for effective relief.

2. Stir a tablespoon of epsom salt - available at some older pharmacies or native medicine
shops , in good steaming hot water. Soak a thick terry hand towel or any old cloth, partially squeeze excess water, then wrap around the pain area. keep for 5-10 mins and you can reheat the water and reuse. Good relief is done before bedtime, wrap an old shawl around the place before sleeping to retain the warmth, action.

There is a commonly found plant with broad light green leaves, quite common, the violetish flowers are used during Ganesh festival. Take 5-6 leaves, immerse in boiling water for 5 minutes. Let cool. Dip a towel in this liquid and wrap around pain area.
