How many of our country men know the dubious ways of Reliance .
One of this is the story of flagship project of RIL that is the RIL's Sikka Refinery . This project was initially approved as an Export Oriented Project .Initially capacity of this refinery was 6mtpa it was later expanded to perhaps 9.0 mtpa . Being an EOU , Import duty on capital goods was on concessional rate . However , RIL imported capital goods for refinery which finally when commissioned had capacity of around 22mtpa . Evidently , under declaration of intended capacity by RIL accrued huge gains to RIL by way of reduced import duty on capital goods. Coupled with incentives given to RIL in the form waivers on certain taxes.
On one side RIL built up huge capacity on the other hand ,other approved projects by PSU refineries both on west and east coasts were put in hold or were put on back burners . One wonders, if any analysis have been carried out by anyone on the consequential costs to national exchequer. more

That is exatly what I have been sayin there is no point fighting the mirror when our own face is badly mutilated/blackened. The annoyance is not with AAP but the way in which it is going about after witting the Delhi elections. Every body had high hopes that good days have come for the Country. But that elation is slowly fading out and we are feeling cheated. If congress or bjp does some thing or do not do some thing we will not be this much perturbed but doing or nondoing by AAP does because we had great hopes and slowly the hope are vanishing. What is going wrong and why is it going wrong. Can we not take some steps at this stage to correct the same. If possible let us do this so that the Nnation will get benefited. more
Thank you Mr. Nandiyal. Perhaps you did not get to the spirits but merely took up the words. Every commercial set-up is subject to appropriate inspection and audit, in different cases the function of audit could be performed by any deptt/insttituion. I did not mean to denigrade C&AG or a particular deptt.l I only wish to emphasise the point that if so many scams are going on then why these could not be checked in time. Either these were not subjected to any inspection and audit or were toothless or the masters concerned did not pay/or not interested to pay any attention, intentionally or unintentionally, to their recommendations. But it is certain that something is definitely wrong in our system. It is futile to be annoyed with AAP - no use fighting the mirror when our own face is badly mutilated/blackened. more
Dear Mr. Ganga Prasad, Can you please specify as to what are the audit departments. You have said audit departments like C&AG. C@AG has been doing its exemplary work before AAP came in and also after AAP came in. C&AG can suomoto audit any Government department but not any private organization unless there is a clause in PPP contract to that extent and Government asks for it. So please do not denigrate all the constitutional authorities with your comments. If you are not abiding by the law of the land and the constitution then probably you want AAP should become a dictatorial party. The comments like this without the full knowledge of the working of the Government and constitutional authorities will only show us in a very bad color. It is good that we should eradicate the demon of corruption but it takes time. It should start with us. We should first correct ourselves and then try to preach others. Mahatma Gandhi showed what he wants others to do by following it in his life. All of us who are shouting at the top of our voice are we honest in our personal lives. Are you honest to our family first? Are we not peeping at a girl going on the road and making comments? It is not corruption of the mind. When we go to shop are we demanding a bill for our each and every purchase and paying the VAT payable. Just to avoid payment of VAT we say we do not want the bill. Are we paying our income taxes correctly to the last paisa? Who may of the salaried employees are showing their other income in their tax returns and paying tax on that. We do not want to do all these but we preach others to follow righteous path. What moral right we have to do this. By following blindly what we are doing is creating one more demon and adding to the list of existing ones. Be it we are in AAP but when we feel some ting is amiss can we not question the same and get reply for it. When we demanded for Lok Pal bill to be discussed thread bear before it is submitted in Parliament and participate in such meeting and walk out stating that the bill is not up to the mark have we followed it now by placing the bill in public domain and asking am admi to give their comments. Without doing it why should we get blame from others? Let us correct ourselves first let us not follow any body blindly thinking that he will not do any wrong. Such belief by the public in the larders of past has brought the country to this level. So let us learn from our previous mistakes and keep asking questions even if it is our own leaders. If they are not receptive to the questions then we can understand there is something wrong and we should think alternatives before it becomes too late. more
