Dear Naveen, I do not feel that people are joining AAP for any personal gains. If I take my own example, I would say that professionals like us ( who rarely cast their votes) do not have faith in any major political party due to very plain reason of ROI against heavy tax paid to any government. Now, I am seeing AAP not as one of the political party in making but as a phenomenon affecting all of us. I feel that Arvind belongs to one of us who dared to give a challenge to old rotted system. He inspired all of us irrespective of class, religion or status. He forced me think that power is in my hand and it is entirely up to me whether I want to be driven by correct set of guys or I want to drive my destiny...Here, I feel that he has provided a right and honest platform to all of us to contribute for our community, our city and our country.
It is very clear that either it would be collective gain or collective pain...
People are joining this platform to see themselves empowered to contribute to society....else no current platform gives common man a confidence to change any system for small small betterment... more

I agree with you Sanjay ji. more
As I had said earlier that I myself worked in Govt. and the salary we get is more than sufficient to live comfortably without taking bribe. Bribe money is spent mostly on drinks and enjoyment and it is not spent on family. There should be a separate cell in each department where we can anonymously (without disclosing our identity) complain by email or phone about corrupt officials, agents, bribe givers. This cell should be manned by honest and helpful officials (Each department has a few such officials and everybody knows about them). Each complaint should be investigated and severe action should be taken. I have some ideas on public transport and women's safety in buses. At present conductors/drivers are not bothered if women's seats are occupied by males and women are harassed in other ways. This should change and conductors and drivers should be made more responsible to ask people to vacate women's seats. If checking staff finds men sitting on women's seats, they should fine the male passenger and conductor and driver minimum Rs. 100 each. This should be written boldly in prominent places in buses and bus stops and given wide publicity." more
Mr.Kejriwal should have accommodation and security as per laid down norms for Chief Minister of capital of India that is Delhi. it is not his personal choice. It is government protocol. He should abide by the law of the land. He is no longer head of NGO, but he is Delhi CM. He should get the house and facilities which chief ministers were getting earlier. He has no choice, he can not dilute norms already established. Moreover bungalows are already existing, No new bungalow is being built for him. He should occupy one of the existing bungalows he is entitled to as CM. more
Dear Mr Sanjay and Mr Ali, Both of you are welcome on the view points put forward to people. Firstly, I am in absolute agreement with what Sanjay has said that it is not the motive of personal gain that people are coming to join AAP, but in fact is the sufferings, hardship and pains that has moved the heart of people to stand against the corrupt people who misused the system of elected government and also misused the public money. I appeal to all people in India to stand up and join the hands of Mr Arvind Kejriwal to bring in and restore the honest and transparent working in government which is sensitive to needs of common man. I HOPE THAT ARVIND KEJRIWAL WILL NO FAIL THE CITIZENS OF DELHI AND INDIA IN DELIVERING THE GOODS PROMISED BY HIM AND HIS AAP. Secondly coming to the point of Mr Ali that it is not necessary to join any party to do good work. Yes, as an individual you can help your neighbours or the poor and needy who may across your way, but your capacity is limited as an individual. By doing good deeds to a set of people will not uproot the miseries of corruption in government which is affecting crores of people in the country. I am sure you must have also experienced some incident of corruption in you life in getting the work done in government departments or with police or with schools etc. Therefore it is necessary to join some platform and strengthen the hands of a person or party who is committed to uproot corruption and given a clean and transparent government to the aam aadmi. With good wishes and happy new year. Chandra Mani Lal Srivastava 9818680671 more
I agree with Sanjay that lot of us has joined AAP or going to join AAP not because of personal gains but to show our support to the group of people of AAP party who have given some HOPE that our political system can change and that too by not putting lot of things on stake. Ali you are right that good work can be done without joining any party and lot of people like us are infact doing it at very ground level but Im sure you will agree that when a platform is provided which helps you to do the same activities with more ease it helps to make those things little fast and that's what AAP has provided and that's what people will join AAP (may be that's the personal gain as I want to do good but with more EASE). Moreover, I would like everyone to join AAP because of for now it is the only group of people who have shown some good HOPE and definitely require support and money for their encouragenent and running. Frankly, its easy for us to to sit back and write comments on internet and extremely tough to be there on ground to face and execute your passion for making politics good.. Personally I joined AAP as a member just to show respect that 'junoon' of Kejriwal and the team :) and be a part of platform which at some day will help me to motivate to do good work for people around me. more
