Heavens would not have fallen just because a senior IAS Officer of his choice was posted by the LG for ten days (with about only about seven working days). It appeared as if Mr. AK could not keep his ego under control when the posting was done by the LG without taking his consent. Legal and Constitutional experts and even those with experience in Delhi have confirmed that in Delhi which is a Union Territory the LG stands vested with power to make postings either in consultation with the Council of Ministers or otherwise and has vaster powers than the Governor has in States.
From a political angle no doubt Mr.AK has a point, namely that in a democracy the elected representatives should have the powers to make postings and transfers being responsible to the people. This calls for amendment of the Constitution and Laws or upgradation of Delhi into a State.
But the question is whether upgrading Delhi which carries pluses as well as minuses should be treated as a matter of top priority to satisfy the egoes of AAP functionaries. more

Delhi can be made better by making it a union territory, otherwise these kind of conflicts will continue on taking Delhi backward. more
Dear Sastry Vemoory, Sir, I think u have to fwd all yr deliberations to Delhi HC & change their ruling issued on 25.05.15....... "DELHI HIGH COURT RESTORES ACB's POWER 2 ACT AGAINST ANY GOVT OFFICIAL. COURT SAYS DELHI GOVT'S ACB HAS POWER TO INVESTIGATE AND PROSECUTE ANY GOVT EMPLOYEE, INCLUDING IAS & IPS OFFICERS, IN JURISDICTION OF DELHI. CENTRE's NOTIFICATION OF MAY 21 'SUSPECT', IT LACKS EXECUTIVE AUTHORITY TO DILUTE POWERS OF ACB. LG MUST RESPECT MANDATE OF PEOPLE IN MATTERS WHICH FALL WITHIN DOMAIN OF DELHI ASSEMBLY , PROVIDED THERE IS NO OTHER LEAGAL FETTER. LG CANT ACT IN HIS DISCRETION, BOUND 2 ACT UPON AID AND ADVICE OF STATE CABINET........TODAY's HC JUDGEMENT A HUGE EMBARRASSMENT FOR CENTRAL GOVT............." QUOTES FROM TIMES OF INDIA FRONT PAGE HEADLINE NEWS (26.05.15) DEAR SIR, NOW EVEN IF AK/AAP WISHES TO COMPLY TO YR ADVISE, THEY CANT AS THEY HAVE TO HONOR DELHI HC's RULING. Dear Mr. Sastry ji, it is a matter of PRINCIPAL & not Ego. We must allow him some time & support to make Delhi better. Why do we not ask Congress or BJP the same questions????? We very well know that we shall thus be talking to a wall. more
Dear Satish Arora ji, U have 4gotton who inflicted another kick(first one being 28/70) contrary to yr prediction with a much much greater intensity (67/70), by 1.25crore voters of Delhi. For Gadkari, let him come out of scam/charges exposed by CAG....... NB: Dear Satish Arora ji, THE ABOVE POWERFUL KICKS EXCLUDE BONUS KICKS FROM DELHI HC INFLICTED ON MONDAY(25.05.2015).
